When you follow our MagusAgora blog you might have recognized, that the Intranet was the dominant topic at this Agora so far. There were many questions to the CD, especially to Dragan, about the new Intranet. Among others, the lack of transparency in this issue, the conflict between ITWG and Dragan and many many more were pointed out.
Last evening some members surprisingly got a copy of the contract which has been kept secret till now. Therefore, the voting on the approval of the Activity Report of the CD was postponed to Saturday morning so that there is the chance to check the contract and discuss it.
This was done during a small inofficial meeting Thursday night. As there was nobody with juridical background present, it was not possible to figure out if there are any legal problems in it or not, but some questions were collected for the CD to answer either in a second question round on the Intranet (if allowed by the Chair) or in written form before the voting on the Activity Report.
The new Intranet will be presented Friday evening to the whole network. All the ones who were not at the EBM in Torino are very much looking forward to this agenda slot/ point. Maybe there will be time to discuss some unclear points, maybe some surprises will happen… ;-)

What kind of tricks are these? Why should we care that CD decided to provided papers only some hours before the voting on the AR? It s their problem, if they didnt do it earlier! The vote should have been done on the scheduled time! Chair should be more strict on that!!
I don't expect that there is anything illegal within the contract. It's just what is written there about the design etc, that has some serious defects. I'm sure it's a working solution, but as I mentioned on AEGEE-L, the question is just for how long it stays working, and how well it will be accepted, because suddenly all the data is in the hands of the CD... Don't know if we are happy about that.
Yes, yes, that s clear Joost! But this is about the technical part of the issue, where the point of ITWG was made clear and there not much to say about it: it is clear that Dragan was acting all the time by his own initiative!
But what happens at the Agora is another part of the story! So personally I dont care about the content of the contract! I am also sure that the content must be ok from legal point of view. But I object on postponing the voting on the AR just because they decided to present the paper now, while people have been asking for it for months now! What is this? Manipulation of the Agora procedure (apart from manipulation of people)??
The CD argumented that they don't want the contract to be online, as it could cause problems for the company not giving all their clients such low prices as they have given to AEGEE (That is Dragan's answer, not mine). I will provide u with more information about the Progress Meeting about the Intranet Contract and Process later on today...
It is again huge bullshit of Dragan. Request were always on the exact content of the contract, not about payments or whatever, they are less interesting. We want to know what he is making exactly.
Well, Bullshit, that is kind like common nowadays when talking about Dragan....
